The Smartest Idiot In The World ?? !! ?? !!
Today i saw George Bush on the news...and for the first time, I thought this guy is clever!!
Like I know there's probably millions that disagree...but think about it!
He has invaded countries without becoming an enemy to the international community!
He has control of the majority of the world's oil reserve in times of such demand and....he's lead the world's most powerful country for the past eight years!!
but having said this...well...he's said this:
And all of this -->
"Most imports are from outside of the country"
"The thing that's wrong with the French is that they don't have a word for entrepreneur"
"I just want you to know that, when we talk about war, we're really talking about peace."
"Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we."

Bus services stink!!
My experience of using the public transport has been a bad one. One day It took me two and a half hours to get home from college in Dundalk which is a disgrace considering I live only about an hour away in Skerries.
The bus eireann buses aren't too bad, they are quite regular but on the other hand sometimes they don't turn up which leaves you thinking I'm going to be late again, stupid buses! And why do they bother call the Dundalk to Dublin express when it stops off in Drogheda adding another twenty minutes to the journey. You would swear who ever is in charge has no brains at all.
Dublin bus services are a whole different kettle of fish, it is far worse. The route I take to get into the city centre is bus 33 and is the worst bus service ever. The buses are always always late, it is unheard of for one to be on time. One day I was waiting on a bus in skerries and 3 buses drove by but none of them went to Balbriggan.
More people would use public transport if it was frequent and reliable. Buses are inconvenient when they leave you late, try explaining this to your boss. Bus services are an inconvenience, no one wants to stand at a bus stop for ages in the cold when the buses are late or when they don't show at all.
Indecent exposure in the Pizza Hut!!!
Just recently I went to Glasgow with my Gaelic team from Skerries. During my visit I endured the most embarrassing DAY OF MY LIFE!!!
It was a Saturday myslef and a couple of girls decided to go out for something to eat together, so we went to a Pizza Hut.
It was absolutely packed but luckily there was a free table enough for the six of us. We sat down, our orders were taken and we were just waiting for our food. I started to feel too hot so I decided I'd take my jumper off.
As i took off my jersey came off with it and i got tangled in it. I was there with my jumper and jersey caught over my head in my bra. The girls thought it was absolutely hilarious me wiggling around trying to get my jumper back on in a crowded restaurant. Eventually my friend took pity on me and pulled my jersey down.
It was so embarrassing I was exposed to the whole restaurant I could hear people laughing. I couldn't look at anyone so I decided to go to toilet try and cool my face which was burning red at this stage.
I walked into the unisex bathroom and opened the door and there was a middle aged man on the toilet. I walked straight back out absolutely horrified and sat down as quickly as I could, ate my pizza as fast as i could, paid the bill and walked out the door.

New driving laws
Yesterday i got what i thought was my provisional license but is now actually a learners permit!!So I decided to investigate what i actually could do with a Learners permit.
I read on the RTE website that one of the major changes to the law will be that a holder of a Leaner's permit will have to be accompanied at all times. So this means I'm going to have to drive around town with my mam. how fun!!Its absolutely ridicules
I cant drive in a car with my boyfriend who just recently got his full license, he has to have two years experience. These new laws are a load of crap whats the difference in 2 years experience he was good enough to pass the test.
Also any learner driver will have to hold a licence or permit six months before taking a driving test.As if the waiting list is going to be that quick so IL probably Have this stupid Learners permit for the next year.
If I chance my arm and take the car for a quick spin and get caught unaccompanied i could face a fine up to 1000 euro and penalty points for not displaying those goofy L plates.I'm going to apply for my driving test asap so that none of these silly laws apply to me.

Rafael Benitez VS the Liverpool owners!
When Rafael signed his contract as Liverpool manager it stated he could only make recommendations on players contracts.Rick Parry, the chief executive is in charge of all tranfers and signings of players.
Rafael wants to begin talks with players that he wishes to sign before the transfer window opens in january because it will be too late as other clubs will have made offers before then. He held a meeting with Rick Parry but nothing became of it so he went directly to the new owners.
One of the owners then told rafael to "quit talking about new players and to coach the players we have”.
The 2 owners are not prepared to discuss transfer targets until they meet Benitez next month. Benitez is unhappy because he cannot tie up Mascheranos contract which ends in the summer. Barcelona have began talks with him and have offered him 17£ million so Liverpool could lose one of their vital players

Burma
Recently I went to a talk about the present situation in Burma by a volunteer who had worked there for the past 2 years. The situation is terrible in Burma, some of the acts the military enforced government carry out are diabolical.
There’s no such thing as freedom of speech in this country. The government soldiers carry out acts of genocide and murder everyday.Woman are raped, villages are burnt down and Burma has the biggest number of child soldiers.
Burma is ruled by a military dictator, in the year 1989 the country held a democratic vote for president. Aung San Suu Kyi a nobel peace prize recipient and the democratic leader won the election with the majority vote 82% but the Burmese government refuse to recognise this and have placed her under house arrest for the past 16 years.
I also read in a BBC aricle that China plays the most crucial role, and as a permanent member of the UN Security Council it can help to limit the relative isolation that the Rangoon regime faces.China vetoed a UN Security Council resolution last January that was critical of Burma's rulers.
China has key strategic interests in the stability of Burma and accordingly strong ties with Rangoon.China will not intervene because of Burma's natural resources and China is a key partner. That is why i feel that everyone should boycott the Olympics
to get the message across so that China and other organistions like the UN will take action to help the people of Burma and put a stop to the miliatry regime.
